With over 50 car makes present, the 2023 Motor Show represents more than 95% of the Belgian automobile market. Historic players on the Belgian market as well as newcomers on European soil will be present.

Als autoliefhebber beleef je op het Autosalon baanbrekende nieuwigheden en exclusieve premières. Je zit op de eerste rij bij de presentatie van concept cars, de nieuwste modellen en duurzame, technologische innovaties. Een blik op enkele van de premières die u mag verwachten op het Autosalon 2023:
High-tech company BYD, a specialist in technological innovation and emission-free energy solutions, is entering the Belgian market. The company, which has already produced more than 1 million electric passenger cars, is presenting a completely new range of electric cars at the Motor Show. Visitors to the Motor Show can expect an exclusive presentation of the BYD Atto 3, BYD Tang and BYD Han.
BYD Atto 3
The Atto 3 gives full play to the advantages of intelligence, efficiency, safety and aesthetics. Equipped with a 150 kW motor, the BYD ATTO 3 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. With a charging capacity of DC 88 kW, the car charges from SOC 30% to 80% in just 29 minutes. Its range is 420 km WLTP combined.
BYD Tang
The BYD Tang epitomises a harmony of style and efficiency. Extremely generous storage space, roof racks and 7 seats are standard equipment. Equipped with a 380 kW motor, the BYD Tang accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. Its range is 528 km WLTP city and 400 km WLTP combined.
BYD Han
Famous for winning the prestigious iF Design Award, the BYD Han EV is a trailblazer with a bold, innovative exterior and luxurious interior. The BYD Han accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and is equipped with an electric all-wheel drive. Its range is 521 km WLTP combined.
For Ford, the 2023 Motor Show is all about continued range electrification and Ford Pro, the new organisation within Ford related to the productivity of commercial vehicles. Several brand-new models will also be introduced:
The Ford Ranger, in the 2023 Wildtrak version:
Bigger, tougher and smarter. The muscular and athletic design of next-generation Ford Rangers is reflected in the new fender flares, larger wheel arches and 50 mm increased track for improved handling and stability. The integrated step makes accessing and loading the cargo area easier and safer. A 'Euro' pallet easily fits in the wider cargo area of all Next-Gen Ranger body styles. The 2023 Ford Ranger has the power, torque and fuel economy you need for work, family and play, paired with automatic transmissions that are more refined, responsive and efficient.

The adventurous Ford Bronco:
The new Ford Bronco will be available in Europe from 2023. Only as a five-door and in limited edition. The American SUV is a real off-road adventurer equipped with a 360 camera, navigation system with off-road routes and digital instruments. The centre console features a touchscreen with SYNC® 4 technology and 4x4 menus.

The next-generation, all-electric Ford E-Transit Custom:
Robust, reliable and now an all-new, future-proof, productivity-boosting and 100% electric van. The new Ford E-transit Custom is packed with intelligent software and Ford Pro connectivity tools. Pro Power Onboard technology enables the connection of power tools, lights, laptops and other equipment to the vehicle while on the go. The targeted driving range of this mobile workspace is 380 km.

Nissan will show an all-new range of e-vehicles.
Qashqai E-POWER
With Nissan's e-POWER, electrified driving gets unplugged. In the e-POWER system, a petrol engine that charges the battery is combined with an electric motor that drives the wheels. The Qashqai urban crossover remains unique with its blend of hatchback compactness and SUV practicality, but becomes smoother, quieter and more fuel efficient with e-POWER and its e-Pedal Step technology.

X-Trail E-POWER
The X-trail e-POWER offers a responsive and quiet driving experience with technologies that go beyond a traditional hybrid. The battery that drives the wheels is charged by the petrol engine. The 5- or7-seater X-Trail e-POWER is spacious and combines innovative cargo shelves and multiple storage configurations with a modern and muscular design.

The new Polestar 3, the SUV for the electric age:
The Polestar 3 is a powerful electric SUV that appeals to the senses with a distinct Scandinavian design and excellent driving dynamics. The all-electric SUV is aerodynamically optimised and achieves premium aesthetics with sustainable, responsibly sourced materials. The standard version with two electric motors and rear-wheel drive delivers 360 kW of power. The 111 kW battery achieves a generous range of 610 km WLTP.

Scénic Vision
The Renault Scenic Vision concept car embodies the values of safety, sustainable development and respect for the environment. The Scenic Vision has an electric powertrain with hydrogen range extender, which means that range restrictions no longer apply, while the vehicle only discharges water. The new generation wound-rotor synchronous electric motor delivers 160 kW of power. The recyclable battery has a 40 kWh capacity. In addition, the forward-thinking design mainly uses recycled and recyclable materials. The standard onboard safety systems have been enhanced with a Safety Coach which assists the driver in order to anticipate high-risk areas and driving behaviours. Combined with these systems, it helps reduce the number of accidents by up to 70%.
R5 Prototype
The re-invented, all-electric city car. Fun, cheeky and high-tech. Renault is breathing new life into the iconic R5 with this future-proof, eco-friendly design. All the fun of the R5, with an embellished design, a 400 km range and a 100 kW engine (136 hp). What about the legendary smile on the front end? Still there, of course.
4EverTrophy Concept
With the 4EverTrophy, Renault presents a futuristic, 100% electric concept vehicle, symbolising simplicity, agility and robustness. Ideal for eco-friendly adventurers or long-distance explorers with a soft spot for iconic design. Largely foreshadowing the future standard Renault 4 electric, the 4EverTrophy E-Tech 100% electric Concept symbolises the future of mobility. It drives just as well off-road as on tarmac roads, making every trip easy, economical... and exciting!

Launch of Solterra: (Car of the Year finalist!)
At the 2023 Motor Show, Subaru will present its first all-electric SUV Solterra, a Car of the Year 2023 award finalist. The Japanese car manufacturer is launching a front-wheel drive model and an all-wheel drive model. Both versions are equipped with a 71.4 kWh battery. The front-wheel drive model is equipped with a 204 hp electric motor and has a driving range of up to 530 km. Motive power on the four-wheel drive Solterra comes from dual 109 hp electric motors, somewhat increasing its performance with a system capacity of 218 hp, and however decreasing range to 460 km. The fastest version accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.

Info on Crosstrek (XV) 2023:
Subaru reveals the next-generation Crosstrek, formerly known as XV. The 2023 Crosstrek features improved sturdiness, more high-tech and increased driving comfort compared to the previous version. It will be available in Base, Premium, Special Edition, Sport, Limited editions… The 2023 Crosstrek Hybrid will be available only in a version with a high level of equipment.
Info Forester 2023
The versatile 2023 Forester is packed with features for all-weather capability, state-of-the-art safety, and everyday driving convenience. The car is equipped with the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system as standard, which optimises traction and stability in rain, snow and challenging road conditions. The 2023 Forester has a towing capacity of up to 1360 kg, offers a spacious interior and is equipped with Subaru Starlink Multimedia technology for optimal connectivity and entertainment.

The Subaru Outback is the midsize SUV that is built for off-road adventures while still delivering all the comfort, convenience and safety you need. Equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as standard and suitable for all terrains. Not only does the new and improved 2023 Subaru Outback feature a restyled, rugged exterior, it is also outfitted with upgraded Eyesight Driver Assist Technology for additional safety.
Subaru celebrates the 50th anniversary of its All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system:
Subaru launched its first All-Wheel Drive car back in 1972. Since then, the Japanese car manufacturer has produced more than 20 million vehicles fitted with its AWD system. Coupled with its dual electric motors, the all-new Solterra is also equipped with AWD.
Tesla is proud to present at the 2023 Motor Show, and for the first time to a large audience, the latest Model S Plaid, featuring an unprecedented level of luxury and performance. With a record-breaking acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 2.1 seconds and 1020 hp, it is the fastest car currently in production. Like the Model X Plaid, it is equipped with the yoke steering wheel and a unique interior design, packed with technology. The S plaid achieves an impressive of 600 km WLTP range and can reach a top speed of 322 km/h.
